WHS Cheer Tryout Information

March 18-20 in the Practice Gym

Tryouts will be an open practice format, allowing the participants to get to know each other and show their skills in a relaxed environment.  It will also allow the coaching staff to watch the athletes interact with each other and observe attitudes and personalities.  Athletes will learn two sideline chants, school traditions, and the school fight song. This material will be posted to Chapscheer.com and should be learned prior to the week of tryouts. We will be looking at all skills including motions, voice inflection, jumps, stunting, tumbling, and overall game presence.
